Affirming Neurodivergent Support

Psychologists including provisional psychologists play a vital role in supporting the mental health of neurodivergent individuals and NDIS participants by using affirming language, which recognise neurological differences such as autism, ADHD, and dyslexia as natural variations of the human brain. They conduct comprehensive assessments, provide tailored therapeutic supports, and offer emotional support that validates clients' experiences, reducing isolation and promoting well-being. By using affirming supports, psychologists empower clients, helping them navigate social, educational, and occupational environments more effectively, and advocate for their rights and needs within various systems. For NDIS participants, psychologists develop individualised support plans and coordinate services to ensure a holistic approach to care. This language promotes self-acceptance, reduces stigma, enhances therapeutic outcomes, and focuses on clients' strengths and capabilities, fostering a more inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

Our Services

Our psychology services aim to support individuals in understanding and managing their mental health concerns through evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Our psychologists utilise various modalities like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy to address emotional and psychological difficulties. These technical interventions are designed to help our patients develop coping mechanisms, process past traumas and work towards mental wellness.

Allied Health Supports

Provisional psychology services are available for those seeking an entry-level therapeutic approach. As part of the progression towards a career in registered psychology, our provisional psychologists provide support and guidance through various mental health concerns.
